MEET THE STAFF →
Each cabin is led by two counselors, often drawn from Alumni who have come back to work at Camp Shaver. They are enthusiastic, friendly, energetic and very creative! Every year our staff goes through Staff Training, regardless if they were an employee in years past. We also require that every staff member takes a drug test before they are officially offered the job.

WHAT'S NEW

Join us for lunch during Sunday check-in
Food available for purchase includes burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Meals are $4 and a la carte items are $1.50. Veggie options will be available as well.
The gates will open and food will be available beginning at 11:30 am and will end around 1:30 pm. Check-in will begin at noon.
All proceeds will go towards the Camp Shaver scholarship fund and the staff appreciation fund.

Mini Camp (July 28 – July 31)
Mini-camp is a 3-night session for children 6-9 years old and is perfect for first-time and reticent campers- and moms! The focus of mini-camp is on the cabin unit, and campers will experience all the activities we have to offer as cabin groups. Cabins will have 2-3 staff members with a group of 6-8 campers. Staff are specially trained in dealing with homesickness in young campers, and will take extra care to make sure all campers feel included and comfortable. The theme for the week is Pirates, so get your swashbucklin’ buccaneers ready for a week of pirate-y fun!
